Anne of Green Gables (Chiltern Classic)

Anne of Green Gables is a 1908 novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery, about Anne Shirley, a spirited 11-year-old orphan with a keen imagination and red hair, who is sent to live on a farm in Avonlea, on Canada's Prince Edward Island.

The story takes us along on Anne's adventures as she makes friends, goes to school, and experiences the challenges of growing up. Anne becomes a beloved figure in the close-knit community, and brings joy into the lives of the elderly brother and sister who adopt her.
